<div>If the venom of  snakebites were as sweet as the songs on Angie Foster’s newest release,  Hurry Up…And Wait, you’d find us hanging out in tall grass, gardens,  back yards and front lawns seeking out the addictive toxin that flows  from the proverbial fangs of this welcomingly poisonous Portland-based  singer-songwriter for a long time to come.  Whether you’re seeking warm and comforting vocals that exude pop  perfection in an “Elton John meets Taylor Swift at a backyard Hollywood  BBQ” or progressive and experimental music that crosses genres like  jaywalking pedestrians, your search is about to come to a screeching  halt.  Take, for example, the opening track, “Way It Should Be”, with  hints of Americana sprinkled throughout and maintaining an alt. rock  demeanor; Ms. Foster takes the listener to the top of the mountain and  back again in just over four minutes, without losing the allure of her  humble softness.  If the smoky sounds of 60’s soul are more your flavor, the ageless  orchestration of “Can’t Hold On” will take you there just as easily as  acts like The Delfonics or Mary Wells have throughout the last  half-century.  One of our favorites on Hurry Up…And Wait is the highly contemplated  composition, “Ordinary Day”, which brings to mind elements from such  revered artists as Radiohead and The Beatles; and through subtle musings  that incorporate folk/pop/classical/contemporary structuring, Ms.  Foster is able to share an extraordinarily compelling story of longing  and displacement.  This is one which may require the listener to  shampoo, rinse and repeat to truly appreciate all of the intricacies,  but will surely end up making a lasting impression on anyone who takes  the time to truly listen.  As the album moves into the autumn season of its playtime, songs like  “Further to Fall” offer a nod to groups like The Police or the Goo Goo  Dolls with Angie’s exceptional presence and her blend of uniquely  cognitive pop music, while the blues come alive on the instant-classic,  “Make It Alright”. <p>Lady Gaga is in the news again.  And that&#8217;s news?  I know&#8230;Lady Gaga is always in the news!  She is truly a phenom! I love the way she steps out and supports the GLBT community (gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender). Now, that is newsworthy coming from the person most covered in the news these days.</p>
<p><strong>Back to why she is in the news as I write this.</strong></p>
<p>#1 &#8211; Lady Gaga is the first artist to get ONE BILLION views on You Tube. Amazing, huh?</p>
<p>#2 &#8211; Lady Gaga had the audacity to pass Obama to be the first to reach 10 MILLION Facebook Fans (ahead of our president by about 700,000).  I say &#8220;audacity&#8221; because I am thinking, &#8220;Aren&#8217;t the Democrats supposed to work together?&#8221; <img src='http://dottiberry.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  Ok, I know I should not make assumptions.  I am making an assumption that she is a Democrat vs. being a  Republican. I have never talked to Lady Gaga (you would think being gay would pay off since she is in favor of marriage equality!).  Forget all that&#8230;.I have gotten off track.  The point is that all of this was the trending story on Mashable today! Get it?  Social Media POWER!</p>
<p>Just when I thought &#8220;What will Lady Gaga do next?&#8221; I got my answer. With her being BIG&#8230;not make that HUGE&#8230; in the news these days, it didn&#8217;t take long.  I was ordering a new cell phone after losing mine enroute home from Atlanta back home last week.  I still have an iphone on order.  I really hated losing my sim card.</p>
<p>Kyle, the gentleman on the line in Missouri, from whom I was ordering the phone, suddenly shouted, &#8220;Oh my goodness.&#8221; (or something like that!) Lady Gaga is the new spokeswoman for Virgin Mobile!</p>
<p>Honestly, I don&#8217;t know what to think now.</p>
<p>After researching, my question is, &#8220;Did she actually become the new  spokeswoman for Virgin Mobile&#8230;and, if she is, when did it actually  happen?&#8221; Surely an event of this magnitude would be newsworthy! Where did Kyle get his information.  Surely he must know since he is a Virgin Mobile rep. I suppose I will have to ask him when I call back today to tell him what color hard cover I want for my phone.  By the way, I chose the purple with black tiger strips.  Grrrrrr.</p>
<p>I am still confused.  In March, 2010, it was announced that Virgin Mobile would back her Monster Ball Concert Tour beginning June 28, 2010.  Those dates don&#8217;t equate to yesterday&#8217;s date   of July 3 when I was ordering my phone from Kyle. The &#8220;scoop&#8221; on her website said&#8230;</p>
<blockquote><p>In keeping with Lady Gaga’s flair for the theatrical,  as well as her innovative and creative spirit, the second leg of the  tour promises to push the limits of the live concert experience,  bringing fans a spectacle even more eye-popping than what they  experienced during the thrilling first leg of The Monster Ball.</p></blockquote>
<blockquote><p>It&#8217;s still called Monster Ball, but it&#8217;s more of a  musical and less of a concert,” Lady Gaga said in a February interview  with KIIS-FM’s Ryan Seacrest. “It has a New York theme, it&#8217;s a story,  and the story is that me and my friends are in New York and we&#8217;re going  to the Monster Ball, and we get lost.</p></blockquote>
<p>Now, I&#8217;m lost.  All I want to know is:</p>
<p><strong>Is she, or is she not, the new Virgin Mobile  spokeswoman?</strong></p>
<p>I believe Kyle owes me an explanation since he screamed this announcement in my ear while I was ordering my cell phone.</p>
<p>Forget the answer to that.  The &#8220;connecting and engaging&#8221; reason I am writing this blog post is to share with you what Lady Gaga, IZigg, Business Card 2, Toktumi Line 2, and I have in common. Here it is.</p>
<p><strong>We all push the limits.  Lady Gaga? Well, you just read what it said on her website&#8230;and you read the other news. No more explanation needed.</strong></p>
<p><strong>iZigg.  Ok, maybe you haven&#8217;t heard of them. Watch out. </strong>It may not be in the realm of the news you currently understand today, but it will be in the future.</p>
<p>I challenge you to think of a company that defines the mobile media market.  No company dominates, much less is a household word like Ford became when they initially ignited the car industry.  There is no &#8220;AT &amp; T, Sprint, or Verizon,&#8221; the companies who dominate cell phone service, currently dominating in the mobile media market.</p>
<p>This is going to change. It has changed.</p>
<p><strong>iZigg fired the shots igniting the Mobile Media Revolution. </strong>Yes, I know. Mobile Media marketing campaigns have been around since 2003, but the general public lacks awareness.</p>
<p>iZigg&#8217;s entry into the field is a game changer.  This is more than a shift.  This is reaching a tipping point. They all promise your own CSC (common short code).  Who cares?  Nobody can remember the funky numbers.  If they can&#8217;t remember it, they can&#8217;t use it. </strong></p>
<p><strong>The instant brandability of  90210 combined with your unique key word is missing from other companies I researched who offer mobile marketing.    Obviously, there is only ONE 90210 CSC.
